Partnership Guide Helps Mainstream Credit Unions Reach Out Print E-mail

Woodstock Institute has published Developing a Community Development Partnership with a Mainstream Credit Union: A Guide for Community Organizations in October 2004. This guide lays out the necessary steps to: understand credit union operations; develop a partnership business plan; locate local credit unions; choose and contact possible partners; negotiate a partnership implementation plan; and monitor and evaluate the ability of the partnership to increase low income membership.
