Find out what concerns people of all ages have about economic security

Woodstock Institute is proud to partner with Wider Opportunities for Women (WOW) to release the results of a national poll on what economic security means to people of all ages--and what messages work to make the case for asset-building strategies. Please join us on September 20 in Chicago to learn how you can more effectively advocate for economic security.

The poll results will address:

How do people of different backgrounds, ages and incomes cope with concerns about their personal economic security?

Who is at greatest economic risk and do others care?

What specific policy issues are important to people across the country in building economic security over the lifespan?

When talking about economic security, what messages work? Which ones don’t work?

Can we find a common message that bridges generations and policies?

During a five-city tour, which kicks off in Chicago on September 20, WOW will engage advocates and service providers in an interactive conversation on how to use common language to unite organizations and bridge generations. WOW will offer poll-tested messaging and research on what language resonates best when making the case to build economic security for American families through policy and program change. Join forces with WOW, Woodstock Institute, and fellow allies by attending the Chicago regional meeting.
