Research Associate

Jason Olson is Woodstock Institute’s Research Associate. Jason is responsible for responding to technical assistance requests, data collection and management, and assisting in the drafting of research reports, as well as developing and disseminating data for the Institute’s online Data Portal and interactive mapping tool. He produces bi-weekly reports on newly filed foreclosures for Woodstock’s allies.

Before joining Woodstock Institute, Jason worked as a Junior Policy Analyst for KIDS COUNT in Delaware, where he also provided data management and quantitative analysis in areas of financial security and opportunity for all. Before that, Jason served as Sustainability Coordinator for the Edgewater Development Corporation, connecting local businesses and homeowners to resources for economic and environmental sustainability. “I’m proud of my work, and I believe that our fight is more important now than ever.”

Jason earned his M.A. in Urban Affairs and Public Policy from the University of Delaware, where he was granted the James H. Sills, Jr., Award for his contributions to the research and public service programs in the Center for Community Research and Service. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Carthage College.
